Extracurriculars and Leadership

Kappa Kappa Gamma, Epsilon Mu Chapter Vice President of Recruitment 2021

During my freshman spring semester and sophomore fall semester, I served as my chapter's Vice President of Recruitment Assistant and fell in love with the organization and communication training involved in the process, even though it was initially facilitated virtually. I then became one of the first third year members to become the Director of Primary Recruitment. During my time in this role, I planned a week long of in person communication and value-based interview training events for the 300 members of my chapter in addition to facilitating a week long of both in person and virtual events for the 300 chapter members and 1,500 potential new members. I was also able to introduce the first ClemsonLIFE (Clemson's disability program) members to our chapter. I managed a $20,000 budget and learned how to delegate.

Feel Good Club

Vice President 2021

During my sophomore year, my friend Caroline approached me about taking over Clemson University's chapter of Feel Good Club. I had not heard of the club prior, but was excited to begin advocating for such a great cause like fighting world hunger. Feel Good has several branches across the country that creatively fundraise to fight childhood hunger across the world. Because our leadership took place during the height of the COVID pandemic, our fundraising abilities were limited, but we enjoyed coming up with creative ways to fundraise, collaborating with chapter leadership across the country, and advocating for a cause that I am passionate about.
